Down time is important for all of us especially if you are a workaholic. Sometimes we can get too driven that we forget to smell the roses and enjoy life and relax. I can get like this at times or get stuck into a routine too much. So, this week, I’m taking a time out to go paddle boarding out on a lake that is not too far from me. I’ve never tried paddle boarding before so will be a new adventure. I took surfing lessons when I was a teen and I truly love the water and being outdoors. I always feel renewed after spending a day outside. So, if you are getting into a daily routine rut, plan a day when you can to get out and try something new. I think it does wonders for all of us mentally too. It is the best natural medicine in my opinion too.
