After getting a tweet today from someone telling me they are interested in the behind the scenes of the adult industry, it inspired me to do this blog. I actually get this often. People want to know what a day is really like on set or just awkward, memorable moments or maybe ones I just want to forget so here are some of my thoughts and memories of past and recent porn set days…
One of my most recent days that I’ll always remember is being on set with Marcus London, Ryan McLane, Tommy Utah and Jack Vegas. I just recently started working with a group of guys and other men period. I can describe it for me as a blind date. I don’t know what I am really getting myself into. I’m not really a loud, obnoxious girl. I get very quiet at first then I warm up. So, picture this… it is a workout theme video and the guys are all in shape so as we were waiting and doing paperwork, I look over at Ryan who is a buff, handsome guy and begin to ask him the stupidest question… “So, do you work out?” OMGGGG Really Catalina??? Did I really just ask that? I seriously would be so bad at dating. Everyone laughed. It was an embarrassing moment but I can laugh at myself so no harm done. I just get nervous still around all these guys. I am a virgin still when it comes to certain porn scenes. I like it though that it is still new and exciting to me. I was blessed that day to have such a laid back, sweet group of guys. I couldn’t of asked for better men to have on set with me. Brandon was entertained the whole day watching me interact.

Another time that is popping into my head right now is the time we get a call from one of our directors who was on set in California shooting photos and video to tell us that the girl being shot was starting to steal liquor out of the homeowners bar/kitchen that we had rented out. We had to have him stop the shoot and send her home. While most of the industry isn’t like this, you do get some wild ones that cannot be tamed but you don’t realize it until you are into it. Another time, he called us because he was getting arrested. Seriously for taking photos in a rented location that we had used times before. I guess the neighbors called or something. This poor guy. Maybe this is why he doesn’t dabble in adult that much anymore. lol Everything worked out but the things we go through to give you porn, I tell you:) There are so many memories I could go on and on. I will be writing a lot more details and memories in my Catalina’s Confessionals for members this week.
